California Bar Journal October 2008 Tenenbaum elected to bar board of governorsThousand Oaks attorney Michael Tenenbaum survived a challenge to his eligibility to represent State Bar District 6 on the board of governors following a review by a bar panel. Tenenbaum, 39, was confirmed as the winner and was to be sworn in at the bar's Annual Meeting in Monterey.
Although he defeated two other candidates in the July election, Tenenbaum's eligibility was challenged based on the location of his principal place of business. Elected board members must maintain their principal place of business in the district they represent.
