Five attorneys, all with bar association connections, won a three-year term on the board of governors last month. With a proposal to reconstitute the board in the fee bill making its way through the legislature, it's likely that this was the last election of its kind. Changes to board membership, who is elected or appointed and their terms will be implemented gradually, so the newly elected governors each will serve a full three years.
