Four elected to bar board; fifth candidate not
certified
Four attorneys were elected to three-year terms on the State
Bar Board of Governors and a fifth was not certified, pending
a review of his eligibility for the board. Jon Streeter of
San Francisco won the District 4 seat and James Aguirre won
the District 7, Office 1 seat in Los Angeles. Angela Davis
was deemed elected to the District 7, Office 2 seat and
Joseph Chairez was deemed elected to the District 8 seat
representing Orange County
