McClusky recently was elected California Board of Accountancy president. McClusky replaces Baxter Rice who was the first public member to have served as CBA president. Another CalCPA member, Michael Snyder, was re-elected secretary-treasurer and Navid Sharafatin an attorney with Kehr, Crook & Fox in Los Angeles was elected vice president.

The election also marked the departure of four CBA members whose terms expired in 1999: Walter Finch, P.A.; Diane Ruben, CPA; Robert Shackleton, CPA; and public member Joe Tambe. CalCPA president Don Gursey presented each with a...
