Carolinas Chapter makes scholarship grants.

On April 16, Ronald Fisher of Lance Inc., president of the Carolinas Chapter, attended the awards banquet at the University of North Carolina--Charlotte and presented the TEI Carolinas Scholarship to Rachel Fargis. Ms. Fargis will be graduated in May 2012 and then enroll in the MAC program at UNCC for the academic year; this program will qualify her to take the CPA examination. Ms. Fargis is interning with Grant Thornton in Charlotte this summer, and is engaged to be married December 1, 2012. Her fianc6 is serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan as a medic.
