Caribou Coffee names Target exec CFO.

Minneapolis-based Caribou Coffee has enlisted a veteran leader from another major Twin Cities retail brand for its top finance job.

Caribou announced Wednesday that Scott Kennedy will take the role of chief financial officer for the growing coffee shop chain. Kennedy comes to Caribou after a 14-year tenure at Target, most recently as president of financial and retail services.

"The Caribou brand has long been a part of my daily life, and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with and learn from this exceptional team," Kennedy said in anews release.
