CareOne names chief medical officer.

New Jersey's largest family-owned and operated senior living and post-acute care operator is welcoming a new medical leader.

On Thursday, CareOne said Dr. Amina Ahmed will the join the Fort Lee-based organization effective April 1 as chief medical officer.

Ahmed is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and most recently served as chief of hospitalist medicine and post acute care at Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, CareOne said.
