ON MAR. 30, CAPE WIND CLEARED A critical hurdle when Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Ian Bowles approved the project's Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), saying that the plan for 130 wind turbines in Nantucket Sound complies with state environmental laws. CLF praised Bowles' decision, saying it was the right conclusion after years of rigorous environmental review, reflecting the state's commitment to combating climate change by supporting renewable energy.
