Where do you get your inspiration for creativity? From everything around me, whether it is a walk on the Dequindre Cut that sparks an idea or another Detroit business' logo that I find effective.

What shaped you into the entrepreneur you are today? My mom. She has owned a framing business in Crosse Pointe for 30 years and has offered invaluable guidance and support.

What was the latest book you read? "World Made by Hand" by James Howard Kunstler. Best book I have read in a year!

Who's your hero? My role models in business are Jackie Victor from Avalon Bakery, Christina Lovio George from Lovio George and Cindy Pasky from Strategic Staffing Solutions. Three strong women who have chosen to build their businesses in the city of Detroit!

Where can we find you after hours? I eat three times a week at Taqueria Lupitas on Bagley!

Favorite place in the Detroit Region to have a meeting? Cliff Bells. The bar and restaurant has been the gracious host of Open City for the past two years.
