The following letter, dated August 26, 2004, was sent to Morio Tombari, 2003-2004 Vice President--Canadian Affairs, from the Canadian Minister of National Revenue, the Honorable John McCallum, P.C., M.P.

As the newly named Minister of National Revenue, I am pleased to take this opportunity to recognize the long-standing relationship that the Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and its members have had with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

The TEI has been a key partner in providing valuable feedback to the CRA in areas relating to business taxation. Working with the TEI on issues that have a national impact is of great importance to me.
