Flying cars, long the stuff of science fiction, might soon be a reality. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts-based company, recently announced plans to develop its first prototype of a four-seat flying car by 2018. The so-called TF-X, which you may be able to buy in 8 to 12 years for about the same price as a high-end luxury car, will have semiautomated flight technology, with a top speed of 200 mph.
