While working as a salesman at Murray Motors in Glendale in the 1970s, Ed Levy made a lamp out of a crankshaft that sits on Owner/President Mark Murray's desk to this day. About 30 years later, Ed teamed with his son Campbell to turn the hobby into a business. They started using whatever discarded shafts they could find, but quickly found the market to be particularly receptive to high-end parts from Porsches and other collectible cars.
