Because to no one's surprise the corporate media have failed to give full and balanced coverage to the humanity-threatening issue of global warming and climate change, it falls to The Progressive and other progressive journals to do the job for them.

Why the corporate media refuse to do their jobs, only they can say. I think that would be a great sidebar to a main story or series of stories.
