The State Bar of California is seeking applications from attorneys interested in serving on the California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) board of directors. One position is currently available. The deadline to apply is Sept. 4, 2017.

The appointment is for two years, with the successful candidate eligible for re-appointment for two additional terms.

California Rural Legal Assistance is a nonprofit Legal Services Corporation-funded program created to provide legal assistance to the rural poor. The 45-member board meets four times a year to make policy decisions governing the program's operations.

Eligible applicants must: • Be licensed by the State Bar of California
