2006-07 CalCPA Chair Marc Parkinson demonstrated a commitment to growth and outreach to communities within the CPA profession. As a result, CalCPA is now more than 31,000 members strong and the nation's largest statewide association of CPAs.

Major contributors to this growth were CalCPA's Top 50 Firms (in terms of members), which generated 1,161 new members over the past year. Deloitte & Touche LLP had the largest single-year increase with 176 new members. Other top firms in terms of new member growth were CBIZ & Mayer Hoffman McCann, P.C.; Moss Adams LLP; RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP; Ireland San Fillippo, LLP; and Perry-Smith LLP.
