CalCPA names 2017 women to watch award winners.

Five women who serve as role models for female CPAs were recently honored at the CalCPA Women's Leadership Forum for their career and for their efforts to support other women in the profession. The awards were split into two categories: Experienced Leader and Emerging Leader.

Experienced Leader

Award Winners:

Donella Wilson (Green Hasson Janks; Los Angeles): Originally from South Africa, she is the partner of the firm's nonprofit practice. She also serves as board president of the Downtown Women's Center (Los Angeles) and is a partner with Social Venture Partners Los Angeles. Wilson was also honored with the CalCPA Trailblazer Award for her charitable contributions.

Mary Case (Moss Adams; Walnut Creek): Audit partner at Moss Adams and the firm's national practice leader for higher education. She has presented on various topics and served on the boards of United Way agencies and various other committees.

Anna Mok (Deloitte; San Francisco): A Deloitte advisory partner, she is the founding president of the Northern California Chapter of Ascend, a nonprofit focused on Pan-Asian business professionals in North America. During her time with Ascend, she created the Pinnacle program that focuses on the placement of more Asians on corporate boards.

Emerging Leader

Award Winners:

Katherine Jackson (Moss Adams; Rancho Cordova): A senior manager in Moss Adams' assurance practice, Jackson serves on the finance committee of the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California, as well as the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California.
