CalCPA members receive honors at women's leadership forum.

Five women who serve as role models for female CPAs have received CalCPA's Women to Watch awards. The five were honored during a daylong Women's Leadership Forum at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Receiving Experienced Leader awards were Sophia Loh, CPA, of Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, Danville, and Esther N. Phahla, CPA, CTC, a sole practitioner in Temecula.

Loh also received the CalCPA Trailblazer Award for her philanthropic efforts.

Honored with Emerging Leader awards were Hiromi Young, CPA, of the Moss Adams Construction Practice Group, Santa Rosa; Deepa Bhat, CPA, CFE. of Abbott Stringham & Lynch, San Jose; and Heather Schlenger, CPA, of Moss Adams LLP, Stockton.
