CalCPA lauds outstanding members, firm.

CalCPA presented its Distinguished Sendee Award (DSA), Public Service Award (PSA) and Pubiic Service Award for Firms (PSAF) at the annual council meeting in Pasadena.

Dennis Young, CPA, is the recipient of the DSA. A senior partner at Young Craig & Co. LLP, Mountain View, Young has more than 40 years or experience as a CPA. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and their closely held businesses. Besides his commitment to providing CPE to fellow CPAs, Young is involved in his community, having served on committees for various local organisations. He's a board member of the Henning Industry Foundation and serves on committees foe various community organisations. He received CalCPA's Public Service Award in 2008. He also received the Santa Clara University Accounting Alumnus of the Year Award in 2006 and the Housing Industry foundation Summit Award in 2007.
