CalCPA Announces 2014 Service Awards.
| Position | OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTORS TO THE PROFESSION |
CalCPA's Nominations Committee recently announced the following 2014 service award winners:
* Individual Public Service Award: Stephen Tierney (Orange County/Long Beach Chapter), co-founder and chair of the Up and Running Again program, which assists homeless people in overcoming economic poverty. The program inspires the homeless to train for and complete a half-marathon.
* Public Service Award for Firms: Young, Craig & Company (Peninsula/Silicon Valley Chapter).
* Distinguished Service Award: Patricia Cochran, who is only the fourth woman to receive the award since 1970 and has accomplished much for...
