CAE to resume nonstop flight to Houston in October.

United Airlines will resume nonstop service from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport to Houston in October.

The flight will begin Oct. 6, according to a news release from the airport.

CAE also announced an 18.6% increase in passengers year-to-date from 2018, with more than 659,000 passengers traveling through the airport so far in 2019.

"With over 659,000 passengers traveling through CAE since January, we continue to be on track for another record-breaking year," airport executive director Mike Gula said.
