CAE to offer nonstop flight to Miami.

Columbia Metropolitan Airport passengers can fly nonstop to Miami on American Airlines beginning Dec. 18.

The daily flight will depart Columbia at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 9:11 a.m., according to a news release from the airport. The return flight will depart Miami at 9:50 p.m. and land in Columbia at 11:25 p.m.

Initial service will be on a regional jet with a 50-passenger capacity.
