CAE to display works of 4 local artists.

Four local artists have had their work selected from among more than 115 submissions for display at Columbia Metropolitan Airport.

The 2020-2021 Art in the Airport Program will feature each work for a four-month period beginning in October, according to a news release.

"CAE's Art in the Airport Program provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase works of art created by artists right here in the Midlands," Kim Jamieson, CAE director of marketing and air service development said. "The art program is also intended to enhance our travelers' experience while creating a sense of place within the airport. Once a traveler lands, these works of art will be the first artistic and cultural touchpoints to the region."
