Busting the Obama sports myth.

One of his few acts as president that the whole country seemed to applaud was Barack Obama--wearing a Chicago White Sox jacket--throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis. (Incidentally, later that season, First Lady Michelle Obama stepped up on the national sports stage as well, as she toed the rubber before delivering the first pitch prior to Game 1 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.) For the record, Mrs. Obama's husband is a much bigger fan--and better player--of basketball than our national pastime. However, whether he's on the court or the diamond, the President also appears to be a fan of another sortie enjoys the Discovery Channel show, "Mythbusters." In fact, he appeared as a special guest of program hosts Jamie and Adam on Dec. 8, 2010.
