Bureau of Safety Education and Training, Indiana Department of Labor

BUSET's primary function is to aid businesses in meeting current IOSHA standards and developing comprehensive safety and health programs through safety education and training via free on-site consultations. Services can include walk-through safety audits, training and education, specific hazard analysis, noise measurements, air sampling and analysis, and both comprehensive written reports and technical assistance by telephone. The free consultation program is available to any business, municipal, county or state organization. BUSET sponsors the Governor's Workplace Safety Awards, which honor exemplary safety and health achievements. BUSET also administers the state's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), a program that recognizes exceptional company safety and health programs. 317/232-2688
