According to a survey by the national employment law firm of Jackson Lewis, three out of four U.S. companies say they now have a policy permitting business casual dress in the office. Of these, 56 percent allow casual attire every day of the work week. This is a 22 percent increase from 1999 when only 34 percent said they allow casual attire every day.
