James K. Galbraith's article was extremely interesting ("Why Bush Likes a Bad Economy," October issue), but I fear the lack of interest the current Administration has in trying to gain voter approval is another piece of evidence that the voting results of the next national election are foreordained. The actions of this Administration boggle the mind of any rational individual who believes in a democratic process.
