Burger joint in downtown Greenville to reopen under new name.

A popular walk-up burger bar in Camperdown Plaza, known for its chef-designed smash burgers, will reopen under a new name this spring after a winter hiatus.

Social Burger will reopen mid-March as Perfect Buns, with quick service and a walk-up window that will feature a menu of handheld American crowd favorites, according to a news release.

Heather Meadors Whitley, Auro Hotels corporate director of communications, said they feel the new brand conveys their focus on serving a variety of handheld American favorites not just burgers.

"We have terrific chicken sandwiches, delicious vegan sandwiches, plus this will help us stay on brand when we create handheld specials like empanadas, for example," Whitley said. "In addition, we feel this brand would be a hit in other markets where we may be building hotels in the future."
