BullStreet Laundry Building almost ready for leasing.

The Laundry Building, the oldest surviving service building on the BullStreet District campus, is expected to be ready for retail and/or commercial tenants by the end of this year.

Recent renovations by Columbia-based real estate development and investment company Avant Holdings to the 15,000-square-foot, mixed-use building have refurbished the building's roof, cupola, windows and interior structures, among other restorations.

"With the strong development pipeline at the BullStreet District, we feel the timing is perfect to move forward with this exciting adaptive reuse project," Todd Avant, managing partner of Avant Holdings, said in a news release. "Our hope is to welcome a mix of dynamic businesses to the Laundry Building, which could include a restaurant, retail shops, creative office or a brewery with a beer garden."
