As part of its recently enacted 2001-2002 Budget, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is funding a variety of ongoing and one-time health programs. The Commonwealth joined the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) with the five major tobacco manufacturers in 1998, and Pennsylvania's annual share of the MSA is anticipated to be between $389 and $460 million.
