* The Air Force is developing a new jet fighter system known as Next Generation Air Dominance. The platform's concept relies on manned-unmanned teaming and autonomous tech.

The service's Chief of Staff Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown Jr. said during a CNAS talk: "The question I get sometimes is--As a fighter pilot, what do you think about having less fighter pilots?'... that's probably where we're going to go anyway," said Brown, who previously served as a command pilot and has racked up more than 2,900 flying hours, including 130 in combat.
