Teland La was a high school junior when he realized that most of his classmates had no idea what career they wanted after graduation. Hoping to change that, he launched a podcast called Major Jobs, where he interviews professionals of all types, including a Grammy-winning rock band, a zookeeper, and the voice of Apple's Siri. Now 17, Teland believes his podcast is helping other teens develop their passions and dreams.

Q: Has the podcast helped you decide on a career?

A: I've listened to so many people's stories, and I feel like there's so many different things that I could do now. That's pretty cool.

Q: Which quest has been your favorite?

A: [Sportscaster] Ernie Johnson. Interviewing one of my biggest idols was surreal.
