The York Peppermint Pattie with the dark chocolate outside and well-known peppermint center will debut a new color in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month--pink. The Limited Edition York Peppermint Patties feature pink centers and pink foil wrappers. Moreover, York--as part of the Hershey Company--will make a $125,000 donation to the Young Survival Coalition, an international, nonprofit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues that are unique to young women and breast cancer.

To further build awareness and promote the well-being of women nationwide, York will sponsor the Young Survival Coalition's annual Tour de Pink bike ride, a 250-mile event that starts Oct. 14 from Hershey's Times Square store in New York and ends three days later in Hershey, Pa.
