Your "Living Our Values" issue has taken up my Saturday morning, as I've read it cover to cover. It's the most inspiring thing to come in the mail this entire political year. I wish every activist could feel the encouragement the authors provide.

I loved seeing old favorites (Julia Alvarez, Jimmy Santiago Baca, Kate Clinton, Edwidge Danticat, Martin Espada, Joy Harjo, Mary Oliver, Marge Piercy, Sonia Sanchez) and meeting new sources of hope (Bill Fletcher, Jan Gehl, Josh Healey, Kathy Kelly, Rebecca Solnit). I'll come back to this for new energy in the new year.
