As many of the best entrepreneurs do, Brandt Page grew up selling things as a child--but he didn't have a lemonade stand. Page would sell neighborhood kids shiny dimes for one quarter each, turning a 150 percent ROI with every sale.

Today, Page is the founder and CEO of Launch Sales and Marketing, a company that provides clients with business-to-business sales, lead qualification and appointment-setting services. Launch opened its doors in March of 2009 and has since grown from a fledgling company, operating out of Page's living room, to a small business with 13 full-time employees.

Page's entrepreneurial spirit was officially born while a student at Brigham Young University. There, Page and fellow classmates started Seatability--a company that sold chairs across the country and online. The project company took off, and in doing so, provided Page and classmates with invaluable experience.

Upon graduating from BYU, Page went to work for a few different businesses, building successful sales teams from the ground up. After doing this for three different companies, Page realized starting his own business could prove more lucrative than working a traditional job.

"I came to realize I don't have to go get a job, I can start a business and create value out of nothing," he says. "I told myself, 'I know sales fairly well, why don't I build a big sales team and service multiple clients with one sales company?" After finding his first client, Page took the plunge and started Launch, which began to grow steadily and expects more hires by the end of the year.

At age 27, Page feels as though youth has been one of the keys to his success. "You have a lot more energy, being young, and as an entrepreneur you work a lot more hours than your regular nine-to-five job," he says. "You've got to have energy that your people can rally behind.
