Boyer Construction hires 12-year Marine Corps veteran.

Boyer Commercial Construction of Columbia has hired a veteran with more than 12 years of service in the Marine Corps as a new assistant project manager.

Maj. Josh Greb is a native of Summerville and a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina. Greb recently transitioned to civilian life from active duty. He spent the majority of his military career as an AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter pilot. He was one of the first in the Marine Corps to pilot the AH-1Z and was on the leading edge of tactical development of the nation's newest attack helicopter, according to a news release from Boyer.

Greb deployed in numerous security cooperation efforts, from the south Pacific to the Persian Gulf, on a variety of missions with multiple Marine expeditionary units. He also was selected to instruct the Marine Corps...
