The mother of a deceased prisoner sued a private company that managed a prison, a warden and a physician, under [section] 1983 alleging failure to provide adequate medical care to the prisoner. The district court entered judgment on a jury verdict finding that the defendants were not indifferent to the prisoner's serious medical condition.
