Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz, Urheberrechi, Wirtschaftsrecht:
Mitarbeiterfestschrift, zum 70. Geburstag von Eugen
Ulmer,
mit
beitragen aus dem deutschen, auslandischen,
und
internationalen Recht. Cologne: Carl Heymanns Ver-
lag (1973),587 pp., 58 German marks.
This collection of 48 essays about intellectual
property
law,
unfair competition law, and cartel law was published in honor
of the 70th birthday of Eugene Ulmer by his colleagues in
the Max Planck Institute. Three of the essays
are
in Eng-
lish, two in French, the
rest
in German.
Each
substantive section of this
book-on
the law of copy-
rights, patents, trademarks,
unfair
competition, and cartels
-begins
with from two to five essays about various relevant
aspects of German law. Except in the case of trademarks,
each continues with from two to six essays on the laws of
countries outside Germany. Each, except the
part
about the
law of
unfair
competition, then concludes with one or more
essays about international law and the law of relevant inter-
national conventions. The book's
last
two sections contain
five essays about certain problems of procedure and four
about certain problems of public policy.
The essays
are
brief, and have considerable scatter in
subject matter. Most of them
are
of high quality.
