The objective of the Bomb and Warhead Division is to encourage the development and fielding of improved military capabilities and the sustainment of a defense industrial base necessary to achieve these accomplishments; to provide a forum for the exchange of technical concepts, design techniques, and test and evaluation data related to bombs, warheads and both kinetic energy and explosive munitions of all types, including those for use against armor, ships, aircraft, submarines, structures and vehicles; and to recognize leadership and technical contributions to the field of warhead technology.
