I have enjoyed your magazine for many years and recently been enamored with the discussion of the demise of Eastern North Carolina. I find it rather interesting that your Up Front column in the July issue speaks further about the struggles Down East, yet your article on top doctors does not offer ENC as a region that has "premier practitioners." I work a a 725-bed regional hospital that has many outstanding physicians deserving of the same recognition as their counterparts throughout the state.
