The purpose of the Biometrics Enabled Identity Division (BEID) is to provide a forum for senior executives of NDIA corporate member companies and senior U.S. Government biometrics professionals to meet periodically to review and discuss issues of common interest and concern. Topics for discussion include technology research, standards, policies, best practices and issues which impact military biometric systems development, procurement and use.
