Bill Quick, president and CEO of Frogzog, spent, many years observing before leading his own company. With 12 years in the corporate sector, he learned fundamentals of business from top companies throughout the United States, followed by five years of learning the ins and outs of the small business world. He even picked up entrepreneurial traits from his grandmother. "My grandmother, Hope Bennett Jones, a successful business owner and community leader, wrote, 'Do not give up easily on what you expect out of life.' I think there is a lesson in that for all of us," Quick says. "I do expect more." It is with great expectations that Quick started Frogzog.

Quick's business philosophy is to lead with honesty and integrity, and he believes in contributing something positive to the world. "[Frogzog's goal] is to build a strong business that can support our team, our investors and the community," Quick says. "We've built a product in Frogzog that can make a difference in this tough economy, all the while giving our employees a chance to build a career." But overall, Quick says, "you have to love what you do every day. There is no question that I do."

Enjoying what you do leads to success, but there are other factors, too, Quick says. Successful ventures come from having a great idea, committed partners and a creative team. Quick's partners, Jerry Cook and Mike Hirst, and associate Tim Fames, helped conceptualize Frogzog. Together, they determined business viability, established market potential and set the idea in motion. Their idea: a consumer-driven, location-aware, spam-free platform to find and redeem coupons anytime, anywhere on any mobile phone.
