Big business is in the process of formulating a creed for its faithful--which runs somewhat as follows:

I believe in Business Almighty, author and perfector of Progress.

I believe in General Motors, General Electric, General Foods, and General Johnson.

I believe in Vitamin D, and irradiated foods and face creams.

I believe in the Sanctity of Patents and pledge my household in everlasting fealty to Super Suds in its fight against Rinso.

In rising up I drink one quart of Borden's milk for this is the will of Governor Lehman of New York, and in my lying down I eat a dish of cornflakes for it induces, says Dr. Laird of Colgate University, 6 percent more sleep.

I believe in Paris garters and wear them 365 days in the year and 366 days in leap years.
