Bicycle Corp. of America expanding in Clarendon County.

Bicycle Corp. of America is investing $5 million in an expansion of its Clarendon County operations expected to create 65 jobs.

Kent International Inc., a bicycle importer and manufacturer based in Parsippany, N.J., established BCA in 2014 as a venture to augment its import sales. BCA, which has produced more than 850,000 bicycles, will purchase an existing 140,000-square-foot building at 9104 Alex Harvin Highway in Summerton and install two new product lines, according to a news release.
