Dukies don't just think they're better than the rest of us, they can prove it--at least when it comes to economics research that7s popular with scholars. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis ranks authors by state based on their number of articles and how often they've been cited. Duke--which has North Carolina's best business school, according to U.S. News & World Report--dominates this one. Then again, the Durham university has more scholars registered with the service than any other institution in the state.
