Befuddled Biden's Soul for Sale.

INTENT on achieving "transformation"--the Left's euphemism for socialism--the new Democrat Party's once-renowned "big tent" no longer has room for moderates, who variously are condemned or canceled, or even liberals who favor big government but shy away from the full-on socialism demanded by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Consequently, Sens. Joe Manchin (W. Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) are harassed and vilified incessantly.

To be a Democrat today means you must endorse defunding police; an open southern border; the banning of fossil fuels; Marxist indoctrination of schoolchildren; gender politics in schools and the military; the abandonment of Americans following the cut and run retreat from Afghanistan; vaccine mandates; inflationary government spending; replacement of reliable and affordable natural gas with unreliable, intermittent, and expensive solar and wind power; and expansion of those dependent on government, even if it keeps people out of work and causes supply chain disruptions. That enormous quantum of swill is too much for all but the red soldiers in AOC's army.

The new Democrat Party is so insatiably socialist and woke that it is willing, like lemmings, to march in lock-step off the cliff of common sense. There could be no greater gift to the advocates of individual liberty, the Constitution, and free enterprise than the Democrats own penchant for self and national destruction. This year is payback time for Americans fed up with the assault on rationality.

Except for rare moments of lucidity, Pres. Joe Biden typically is plagued by all-to-apparent temporal and spatial awareness issues. He sold his soul to the socialists in order to get elected and clings to a socialist agenda despite welling evidence that the overwhelming majority of Americans reject it. Entirely incapable of providing any meaningful remedial response for the many disasters of his own making, he ducks media inquiries and instead redundantly mouths platitudes in support of the very decisions that deeply offend public sensibilities. He never apologizes nor ceases his disastrous policies, regardless of the political consequences and destruction of public confidence. Biden believes it entirely unobjectionable for a president to be unresponsive to the public even in the midst of an acute national crisis. The combination of ignorance and arrogance is so obvious that month after month his popularity continues to plummet.
