Following the star-studded, live-action theatrical film "Thor," the direct-to-DVD "Thor: Tales of Asgard" lets fans see the young God of Thunder in the newest Marvel Animated Feature. From Lions-gate Home Entertainment, the title builds on the strength of more than 40 years of Thor comics and the timeliness of the character to create an epic story that appeals to lifelong fans and newcomers as well.

Hungry for adventure, Thor secretly embarks on the journey of a lifetime, joined by his loyal brother Loki, whose budding sorcery equips him with just enough magic to conjure up trouble, and the Warriors Three, a band of boastful travelers reluctant to set sail on any expedition that might actually be dangerous. What starts out as a harmless treasure hunt quickly turns deadly and Thor must prove himself worthy of the destiny he covets by saving Asgard.
