IHS Enterprise Solutions, of Denver, Cob., has installed a Web portal for the U.S. Air Force to use in worldwide delivery of tech orders and other mission-critical, hyperlinked data, announced IHS President Dennis Zehnle.

Tech orders are detailed maintenance and repair procedures for Air Force aircraft. With the new portal, Zehnle said, millions of pages of text, illustrations and data tables will be converted into electronic formats for secure access on the Defense Department's DoD.mil network. The participating air logistics centers include Oklahoma City, Warner Robins, Ga., and Ogden, Utah.
