SCBA Hosts SEE ME™ Community Rally

On July 16, the Sam Cary Bar Association organized a rally and campaign called SEE ME™ to demonstrate the unity of our community in its commitment to be seen and respected as individuals. The CBA joined forces with the SCBA and other specialty bars on this important issue, which encourages people to unite against the inhumanity of the violence by and against law enforcement officials.

Networking Meeting and Reception for TCL Coordinating Editors

On August 23, coordinating editors for The Colorado Lawyer met with staff members to discuss the results of the recent readership survey and share ideas for generating content for the publication Among attendees was CBA President Patricia Jarzobski, who thanked the volunteers for their work in soliciting and peer-reviewing TCL articles. She also spoke of the publication's centrality to research on Colorado law and highlighted the staffs aim to improve TCL's online visibility and impact.

Henry Solano Recognized with HNBA Lifetime Achievement Award

The Hispanic National Bar Association honored several outstanding lawyers at its 41 st Annual Convention at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel on September 8. This year's convention witnessed one of the largest gatherings of Latino lawyers, judges, law students, and legal professional from across the United States.

Colorado lawyer Henry Solano, a partner at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dickler, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Over the past four decades, Solano has been a dynamic force in advocating for justice in the Hispanic and broader communities. He has served as an Assistant Colorado Attorney General, Colorado's U.S. Attorney during the Oklahoma City bombing trial in Denver, and a faculty member at Harvard's Kennedy School...
