The objectives of this campaign were to connect a well-loved brand with every member of the community and to heighten brand awareness and increase market share.

The company's former president, the late Raymond B. Preston, had built the bank's founding principles on stewardship. Even today, more than 30 percent of the bank's profits are invested back into the community through the Raymond B. Preston Family Foundation.

Even though none of the bank's competitors can boast such consistent, substantial community investment, the bank had not made much mention of Mr. Preston being the humble, benevolent community leader who personified the brand.
