LEISURE I enjoy spending time with my family, especially summers. We love the ocean and spend quite a bit of time on Cape Cod and the South Coast of Massachusetts. I love travel--my three favorite destinations are New York City, Virginia and Rome. I have also increased my involvement in the humanitarian service projects through the Order of Malta.

TIME MANAGEMENT I prepare to-do lists in conjunction with my calendar, and limit the length of meetings.

FAVORITE BOOK With Love and Prayers: A Headmaster Speaks to the Next Generation, by F. Washington Jarvis. It is an inspirational book of lectures to young people on basic values. This is a great read for young and old alike.

FAVORITE MOVIE It's a Wonderful Life. IF I COULD, I'D SPEND ONE HOUR WITH Abraham Lincoln. I am a Civil War buff and find him fascinating.

MY HERO Is My father, Thomas Kerwin. He was a hardworking family man--father of seven children--who ran his own business and was a profoundly decent person.

THE BEST ADVICE I'VE RECEIVED "Always do the right thing, no matter what."

FAVORITE JOB My current job is my favorite. The MFA is a fascinating place, with many facets to the business--in addition to finance--that never make it boring and always interesting; no two clays are the same. I also...
